How it all began
In 2019, our founder Priya Sharma was juggling a demanding career and a young family in Mumbai. Getting a simple haircut meant a 45-minute commute, a 30-minute wait, and another 45 minutes back — nearly three hours for a one-hour service. She knew millions of women faced the same frustration.
Priya set out to build something different: a platform that brings India's best beauty professionals directly to your home, on your schedule. What started as a small team of 12 beauticians in Mumbai has grown into a network of 2,000+ verified professionals serving 18 cities across India.
Today, GMADAM has served over 50,000 happy customers — and we're just getting started.

Application & background check
Every applicant undergoes a thorough background verification including identity, address, and criminal record checks before they're even considered.
Skills assessment
Candidates complete a rigorous practical skills test evaluated by our senior trainers. Only the top 20% of applicants pass this stage.
Certification & training
Selected professionals complete our GMADAM Certification Programme — covering advanced techniques, hygiene protocols, and customer service standards.
Ongoing quality reviews
Every booking is followed by a customer rating. Professionals must maintain a minimum 4.5-star average to remain active on the platform.
